Valerie Thomson grew up on the enchanting shores of Lake Charlevoix in Northern Michigan. She now resides in sunny Sarasota, Florida.
She is a graduate of Kendall School of Art and Design. At Kendall, she was an honors student in illustration and graphic design. She has spent 30 years in the world of art including working at a printing company, an advertising art studio, and her own art gallery.
Valerie has won numerous awards from a "Dallas Tops Award" to "Best of the Northwest Gallery." She displayed at the New York Art Expo and her works are in various private and corporate collections.
